Bryan County authorities confirmed late Wednesday night they had found the body of an elderly man with Alzheimer's who had been missing since last Thursday, according to WSAV television news.
Elvin Mosely, 82, was last seen at 4 that afternoon near Ellabell. Mosely's son apparently found his truck Wednesday evening, just a few miles from his home, and called authorities, who then launched a search.
The Bryan County Sheriff's Office said Mosely's body was found in a swamp a quarter to a half mile away from the truck.
