Firefighters from five departments battled a house fire in the 100 block in Jesup on Thursday night. According to Jesup Fire Department Lt. Patrick Wright no one was home when the fire began shortly after five p.m.

Firefighters were still battling the blaze at 7 p.m. It has destroyed the home.
