Fort Stewart to celebrate Oktoberfest
Oktoberfest
Fort Stewart's Oktoberfest celebration runs from Oct. 21-23.

Fort Stewart’s Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation invites the general public to Oktoberfest 2022, Oct. 21-23. Experience carnival amusement rides, music performed by the 3rd Infantry Division Band, Shenanigans Dueling Pianos and special DJ party all while enjoying German cuisine and beverages. There is no admission fee. Food, drinks and access to rides will be available for purchase. The general public can access the event at Fort Stewart’s Capt. Maurice Britt Gate (Gate 3) on Old Sunbury Road.

“Stewart-Hunter is thrilled to be hosting our fourth Oktoberfest, said Tyler Gierber, FMWR deputy director. “The event has now grown to span over three days this year. We look forward to inviting the local community back to Fort Stewart to celebrate the significance of American and German culture. Prost!”

The festivities will kick off with an official keg-tapping ceremony on Friday, Oct. 21. The celebration continues with competitions, games and prizes through the weekend.
