Liberty County Commissioner Justin Frasier was reappointed recently to serve as District 12 director on the Board of Managers for the Association County Commissioners of Georgia (ACCG or Georgia’s County Association). Toombs County Commissioner Alfred Cason swore in the 2024-25 Board of Managers during the installation luncheon at this year’s ACCG Annual Conference in Chatham County.
“We are excited to welcome our newly installed Board of Managers, a group of dedicated leaders chosen by their peers to guide our organization,” said Executive Director Dave Wills. “Their commitment and expertise will be invaluable as we work together to advance the interests of Georgia’s counties.”
Commissioner Frasier was born in Liberty County to the late Charles Frasier and Mrs. Shirley Frasier. He’s the youngest of three children. Frasier is a 1999 graduate of Liberty County High School. Because of his musical skills in percussion, he was recruited to attend Morris Brown College in Atlanta to play in its dynamic band. He later matriculated at Savannah State and is currently attending Fort Valley State University to obtain his masters in public administration. He received in paralegal certification from the University of Georgia in 2010. He stayed in the metro Atlanta area for over 10 years, and returned to Liberty County in 2010.
Frasier was employed by Interstate Paper for the past seven years. While working a full-time job, he got the entrepreneurial bug and decided to open his own barbershop in April 2018. He is now a fulltime entrepreneur. In addition to this local business, Frasier opened the Southern Investment Group in April 2010 and HUTA Essentials in August 2020.
Frasier ran in 2012 and became the Commissioner of District 2. While serving as a commissioner, he presently serves as chairman of Young Democrats of Liberty County; vice chairman of the Hinesville Development Authority; vice chairman of the Regional Water Resource Council; and serves on several ACCG committees. He collaborated with Commissioner Marion Stevens in having the Board of Commissioners institute a Youth Commission Program.
He is married Brittany Frasier and is the proud father of three children. He and his wife are members of the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Hinesville.
