Local business owner Guy Cook is seeking any information that could lead to a potential arrest, after his store Gamers Only was broken into Saturday night and burglars stole nearly $30,000 worth of inventory related to Magic the Gathering, he said.
“It was mostly Magic the Gathering single cards, and the older stuff that you can’t buy elsewhere anymore,” Cook said. “We reported it to the Hinesville Police Department, and they are investigating, but we don’t have much to go by.”
Cook said that they recently moved into the building at 230 W. General Screven Way, and there weren’t any security cameras to catch the thieves.
“We are offering a $2,000 cash reward to lead to the arrest of those involved,” he continued. Contact the store at 912-332-7981 with any information.
Gamers Only is a gaming and collectible store in the Hinesville area, and frequently holds tournaments and other events for those in the community, according to their Facebook page.
