Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia’s 2019 Operation Cookies from Home program provides deployed service members all over the world a little taste of home, and their favorite Girl Scout Cookies.

The public is invited to purchase boxes or cases of cookies that will be shipped to service members, according to Roxanne Snider. The program satisfies the community service component of the Girl Scout Cookie Program.

The Girl Scouts will sell cookies to the sponsoring members of the public. After, they partner with military installations throughout Georgia to ensure that the cookies are shipped and delivered to those service members overseas. The scouts include notes of thanks in the cookie shipments, and sometimes receive thank you notes and photos in return.

Cookies sold will be shipped to troops stationed at Fort Stewart or Hunter Army Airfield members serving overseas.
