A street market and arts show, blues music and good food and drink were cause for celebration in downtown Hinesville on Saturday during the annual Blues, Brews & BBQ festival. BBQ masters were judged and numerous musicial acts performed. The family-friendly event was hosted by the Hinesville Area Arts Council and supported by the Liberty County Chamber and CVB. The Shanken Team with Coldwell Banker/Holtzman Realtors presented the event. This was the first year for the street market. “We usually have around 3,000 to 3,500 people in attendance,” said Liberty County Chamber of Commerce and CVB CEO Leah Poole. “With the addition of the Junkin & Pickin and Sewlyn Birchwood as the headliner I would put that number closer to 5,000.”
