The City of Hinesville will be hosting the Mayor’s 16th annual Service of Songs, Prayer and Thanksgiving on Sunday, Nov. 18 at 6 p.m. at Cathedral of Praise located at 406 South Main Street.

“This treasured event is an annual tradition bringing the people of Hinesville together with community leaders to unite for an evening of reflection, prayer, and thankfulness for the blessings we share,” Hinesville Mayor Allen Brown said.  “It is my honor to be able to personally invite each and every member of the Hinesville community.”

Featured speakers include Fort Stewart’s Command Sgt. Maj., CSM Rebecca Myers, Liberty County Board of Commissioners Chairman Donald Lovette and others from the state and local level, as well as several members of the Hinesville faith community.

All offerings given during the program will benefit the United Way of the Coastal Empire – Liberty County.

“By joining us at this special event, you will be taking part in an opportunity to strengthen the fabric that binds us together through prayer and through the giving of any amount you are able to help improve the lives in our community,” Brown said.

This event is free and open to the public.
