Hinesville Fire Department pays tribute to the Army’s birthday

In honor of the Army’s 250th birthday, the Hinesville Fire Department donned green T-shirts with the Marne patch of the 3rd Infantry Division. The fire fighters were joined by Rocky, the new live bulldog mascot of the 3rd Infantry Division.

The Army, the oldest of the branches of the military, is celebrating its 250th birthday Saturday, June 14. Soldiers from the 3rd Infantry Division will be part of the parade that will take place Saturday evening along Constitution Avenue in Washington, D.C.
