An early morning shooting Tuesday claimed the life of one person, according to Hinesville police.

HPD chief of detectives Capt. William Oberlander confirmed a 23-year-old man died this morning following a shooting at the Harbor Rain apartments.

The victim, according to reports, was shot in building H shortly after midnight.

Emergency medical personnel attempted to revive the victim, who died from a gunshot wound.

No arrests have been made. Authorities believe this is an isolated incident.
