Huey Magoo’s holds ribbon cutting at new location in Hinesville

The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting Huey Magoo’s on Monday, September 12, at its location 567 Oglethorpe Hwy, Hinesville.

 Pawel and Dawn Zmuda, the owners, thanked those in attendance and gave a brief history of how the new restaurant came to Hinesville. Pawel expressed his gratefulness to the community for welcoming them with open arms. Dawn also added thanks to their staff, management team and all those who played a part in bringing Huey Magoo’s to the area. Donald Lovette, chairman of the Liberty County Board of Commissioners, welcomed those in attendance. He thanked the Zmuda family for choosing Liberty County as the place to open up their business.

Joe Ford, Liberty County Chamber of Commerce incoming chairman, congratulated the Zmudas on opening up their business in Hinesville. He also congratulated them on joining the Chamber family.

Andy Howard, president and CEO of Huey Magoo’s, thanked all those in attendance and gave a brief history of how the first Huey Magoo’s came to be and gave some insight into the future of the corporate franchise. He also expressed his excitement for Liberty County to taste the “filet mignon of chicken tenders.”

Huey Magoo’s serves chicken tenders made from the tenderloin. Their tenders are all-natural, with no antibiotics, no hormones, no steroids and no preservatives, according to their website.
