Hunter finds woman's body in the woods

The remains of a woman whose body was found Saturday afternoon in a heavily wooded area of Old Hines Road In Flemington has been tentatively identified as Margaret Hanley of Jacksonville, Florida.
Liberty County Sheriff’s Office Major Bill Kirkendall said her body was discovered around 4 p.m. by a person hunting in the area.
The vehicle was bogged down in mud and Hanley’s body was discovered nearby.
Hanley’s vehicles was last seen on February 8 near Timberlane Circle in Hinesville when her vehicle was detected by a patrol car equipped with a license plate reader.
Hanley’s body will be taken to the GBI crime lab where a positive identification will be made and the cause of death will be determined.
Hanley’s family has been notified.
