The Liberty County Detectives Office, acting on information provided by Homeland Security Investigations, prompted an internet crimes against children investigation into a married couple from Midway, Ga. With the assistance of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Internet Crimes Against Children task force, and Homeland Security Investigations, a search warrant was executed on Jan. 8, 2020, which led to the arrest of John-Paul Keegan and his wife Sharon Elizabeth Keegan. Mr. and Mrs. Keegan were arrested and charged with child molestation and Enticing a Child for Indecent Purposes and Sexual Exploitation of Children. The investigation is still ongoing.
