Input sought for county hazard mitigation plan

Liberty County Emergency Management Agency invites residents to a public meeting about the 2026 Liberty County Hazard Mitigation Plan update. The purpose of this meeting is to engage county residents in the planning process, to provide insight into hazard risks and vulnerabilities within the county, how the county and its municipalities plan to mitigate hazards, and to seek your input into the results of the draft plan.

The meeting, scheduled for Wednesday, January 14, at 1:30 p.m., will be held at the Liberty County Commissioners Board Room located at 112 N. Main Street, Room 105, Hinesville.
