Polly E. Martin will be sworn in as Liberty County Sheriff at 11 a.m. Friday.
Probate Judge Nancy Aspinwall will administer the oath of office to widow of Sheriff J. Don Martin, who died late last month.
The ceremony will be held in the superior court courtroom on the second floor of the courthouse in downtown Hinesville.
The public is welcome.
