The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce (LCCOC) and the Liberty County Convention and Visitors Bureau (LCCVB) will host the 28th Annual Illuminated Christmas Parade on December 6, 2024, in downtown Hinesville. The parade will begin at 6:30 p.m.

This year’s theme is “An 80s Christmas.” The theme is meant to be full of iconic references with festive Christmas twists that will send everyone back to the 80s!

“We are really excited to see all the fun and creative ideas the community will come up with for this year’s theme. We always love seeing the amazing creativity, and we can hardly wait to see this year’s entry,” said Leah Poole, president/CEO of the LCCOC/LCCVB.

Spectators are welcome to bring their own chairs to sit and enjoy the fantastic lights, floats and performances. The route for this year will be the same as last year. Spectators can sit in their favorite spots from years past and see the parade. If you have an interest in the specific route, be sure to check the Liberty Chamber Facebook for a map in November.

The parade has been held in Hinesville for the past 20 plus years and showcases businesses, groups and organizations from all over the area. This event has attracted over 15,000 spectators and is televised.

Parade entry forms are due no later than Friday, November 22 by close of business. For more information about the parade or to find the parade registration forms, contact the Chamber at 912-368-4445.
