The Khyla N. Dennis Memorial Foundation, advocating for suicide prevention and awareness, held its annual 5k and fun walk at James Brown Park. 

Since its inception, it has donated more than $13,000 to graduating seniors Bradwell Institute, Liberty County High School, Long County High School and First Preparatory Christian Academy. 

Jose Veccerril finished in first place and Derek Brown, finished in third place. Everette Dennis finished in second place.
