Liberty County, it is getting close to that time of the year again, hurricane season 2023.

After last year’s success with the Hurricane Survey, the Liberty County Emergency Management Agency once again is canvassing the county for input for hurricane data. Please take and forward to as many people as you can in order for the LCEMA to collect as much data as possible.

LCEMA is interested in gathering data from Liberty County residents to help better understand how residents receive information and react to a hurricane event affecting the community. Collected data will be compared with current practices for decision-making and evacuation communication to ensure there are effective coordination efforts.
