The Liberty County High School cheerleading program hosted its second annual Future LCHS Cheerleaders Camp from June 5–7. The cheer camp consisted of team building, self-esteem workshops, arts and crafts and mentoring opportunities for high school students and campers.
Campers created their own megaphone canvas paintings, cheer memory jars and decorate their own LCHS cheer bows. The culminating camp activity consisted of a showcase of cheers, chants, dances, tumbling, and stunts that campers learned during the week. After the showcase, campers enjoyed a cookout to celebrate their hard work and dedication.
The LCHS cheerleaders and coaches are already looking forward to next summer’s camp.
Future LCHS Cheer Campers are invited to cheer with the LCHS Cheerleaders during the first quarter at the Panthers’ scrimmage game on August 11 at 7:30 p.m. at Donell Woods Stadium.
