Come get your back to school supplies Jan. 3 at the Liberty Performing Arts Center.
Hosted by the Liberty County Minority Chamber, President Sabrina Newby is looking to take hardship off families and teachers entering the second half of the school year.
“The hardest time for students to get school supplies is right after winter break,” Newby said. “This back to school drive is just the beginning and we hope for it to become successful.”
The drive is from 10 to 3 p.m. at the Liberty Performing Arts Center. If you would like to donate supplies or volunteer contact the LCMC at 912-231-7583.
Liberty County Schools are on Christmas Break from Monday, Dec 24 through Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019.
