Long County Middle School athletics held its inaugural Field of Heroes fundraiser to celebrate the veterans in the community. The fundraiser consisted of individuals dedicating flags to a special veteran in their lives, those flags were then planted in front of LCMS and will continue to fly all the way through December 1.

Being a Military Flagship school in Georgia, Long County Middle School recognizes and celebrates the impact of those who serve or have served this county. To date, the Middle School has raised over $200 to be donated to the Army Community Services of Fort Stewart and will continue to accept donations and dedication forms through Veterans Day.
