The Liberty County Convention and Visitors Bureau hosted its bi-monthly Spouse Bus Tour, sponsored by Smile Doctors, on Wednesday, April 19. This event introduced Fort Stewart/HAAF spouses to the Liberty County area and allowed them to each lunch from a local restaurant.
The spouses toured the newly-opened Old Savannah B& B, participated in a paper airplane competition at Mid Coast Regional Airport for a chance to win a Discovery Flight, hand painted earrings with The Robin’s Nest at Martin Mercantile and took selfies at It’s All About Me Selfie Studio.
The spouses enjoyed learning more about Liberty County by participating in activities with local business owners and having lunch at Rodeo Mexican Restaurant.
“We love the opportunity to show folks, both new and old, what our community has to offer,” said Leah Poole, Liberty Chamber/CVB CEO.
The next tour will take place Wednesday, August 23. RSVP by calling (912) 368-4445 or emailing operations@libertycounty.org.
