Liberty Elementary School students celebrate Arbor Day
arbor day 1

On Thursday, February 16, third-grade students at Liberty Elementary School were visited by special guests from Keep Liberty Beautiful — Dr. Karen Bell, Amanda Jeffers and Shailah Wilson — to learn about Georgia Arbor Day.

Georgia Arbor Day is observed on the third Friday in February during its regional planting season.

The best way to celebrate Arbor Day is to plant a tree, and these students will be adding a dogwood tree to their school grounds.
