ATLANTA – Local Attorney Thomas Giannotti, with Arnold & Stafford Attorneys at Law, was selected by the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association for their 2019-2020 Leadership Education & Advanced Direction (LEAD) Program.

“It is truly an honor and privilege to be among those selected for this program. GTLA does very important work throughout this state to ensure that everyday citizens, families and small businesses are never deprived of their constitutional guarantee of access to true justice. I am very excited about this opportunity and how it will better equip me to serve the citizens of Liberty and Bryan Counties,” he said.

Giannotti, grew up in Marietta but now calls Liberty County his home. He joined the firm two years ago after graduating from the University Of Georgia School Of Law.

“My wife and I love being near the coast, so when I first met with Andrew Johnson and Craig Stafford and heard about what their practice had to offer, it was an easy decision to move down here.” Giannotti said.

He and his wife Ashley have been married one year.

Giannotti specializes in personal injury, criminal defense and family law.

The LEAD Program serves to train and equip GTLA members who have been identified as potential leaders in the Association with the necessary tools to take the next steps in their legal careers, both in and out of the courtroom.

Only 17 Attorneys were chosen for the LEAD program after a rigorous review and selection process.

The GTLA LEAD Program chooses, and ultimately produces, the most talented future leaders for our association year-in and year-out," remarked Dan Snipes, President of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. “These 17 attorneys have proven themselves to be the very best among a highly competitive field of applicants, and I cannot wait to work with them throughout this year and see how they grow as a class and as individuals.”

The GTLA LEAD Program consists of qualified applicants with less than 10 years of legal practice experience or those who are 35 years of age or younger. The 2019-2020 LEAD Program will feature seven sessions beginning at the end of August in Athens, Georgia and concluding with graduation at the GTLA Annual Convention & President’s Gala in Atlanta on April 23-24, 2020.

"The LEAD Program was one of the best personal and professional development programs in which we have participated," stated LEAD Program Co-Chairs Sachi Cole and Dustin Davies. “This class represents the best of GTLA, covering 8 cities across the state and bringing with them a wealth of legal knowledge, diverse backgrounds, and community involvement. We are thrilled to welcome and congratulate them on being accepted to the 2019 – 2020 LEAD Class."
