FORSYTH — Advanced Deputy Matthew McKnight of the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office completed a course in advanced traffic law at the Georgia Police Academy Division of the Georgia Public Safety Training Center.

The course provides an overview of the laws in the Georgia Traffic Code pertaining moving-vehicle violations and includes updates on the rules of the road.

Additional topics include driver and vehicle-licensing; vehicle-safety inspection regulations; and factors contributing to accidents.
