Fort Morris State Historic Site will host its annual free Independence Day Colonial Faire Wednesday.

There’ll be games, colonial music, musket and cannon firing and you’ll be able to meet Georgia’s signers of the Declaration of Independence from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

The event is sponsored by the Liberty County Visitors Bureau, City of Flemington and the Friends of Fort Morris.

The fort is seven miles east of I-95’s Midway exit. Signs point the way.
