There's disagreement about how cold it's going to get, but forecasts agree that Coastal Georgia will see the coldest temperatures since last winter late Tuesday, into Wednesday.

Cold enough that you should consider covering or bringing in sensitive outside plants and pets.

The National Weather Service predicts Tuesday's low at 40-41 degrees and Wednesday's down to 30. The highs will be 71 Tuesday and 51 Wednesday, when there will also be wind.

The Weather Channel gives similar numbers, except Tuesday's low at 35 and Wednesday's high at 56.

No rain is forecast and temperatures are expected to climb back to the mid 60s with lows in the high 40s on Thursday and then mid 70s highs and mid 50s lows on Friday and through the weekend, when rain could move in.
