The Golden Corral restaurant on Oglethorpe Highway is closed but, according to vice president of operations Bob Heyward, that is temporary. “It closed based upon some financial issues with the lender to the original franchisee…” he said. “It was being operated under a management agreement by another franchisee, but the restaurant is expected to be reopened shortly.”
