June 10: Burglary (forced entry) — An officer was called to a residence after a woman cleaning the home noticed a bedroom window was broken. Broken glass was inside and outside the window. The officer observed most of the furniture was missing, but the complainant said the homeowner was in the process of moving. The homeowner was contacted, and he asked the complainant to see if his son’s laptop was in the dining room. It was not, and the victim was unsure whether any other items were missing. The homeowners planned to return to their residence to see if anything else was missing and also to obtain the laptop’s serial number.
