The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce recently named Haley Nickell as its new membership coordinator.

Nickell will be responsible for communicating with current and potential members, as well as facilitating sponsorship and marketing opportunities and membership development.

“We are very excited to welcome Haley to our team, and look forward to working with her to keep our membership engaged and active,” Chamber CEO Leah Poole said.

Nickell was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, but moved to Hinesville when she was 7 months old. She graduated from Liberty County High School in 2010 and attended Armstrong Atlantic State University. In 2013, she transferred to Georgia State University. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in speech communication in 2015 with double minors in theater and hospitality administration. Nickell said her passion for event planning led her to minor in hospitality.

“The job of membership coordinator was a great fit for me because of my interest in communications and event planning,” she said. “I look forward to getting to know our members and working with them.”
Nickell enjoys photography, helping her father at his restaurant and spending time with her Yorkie, Bella.

“I can’t wait to meet new people, explore Liberty County and engage more with the community,” she said.
