Long County Schools Director of Support Services Scotty Hattaway is one of three finalists for the superintendent's job in Pierce County, the Blackshear Times is reporting. He was named as a finalist at Monday night's school board meeting.

Hattaway, formerly principal at Long County High School, taught in the Pierce County Schools agricultural department for 16 years and was named the district's teacher of the year in 2007.
