Long County High School student injured, flown to hospital
Sheriff says student hurt when he and another student playing

A Long County High School student was flown by medical helicopter to a Savannah hospital Thursdasy as a result of injuries received as he and another student were “horseplaying” around in the school gym.

The student’s injuries were “not life threatening,” according to Long County Sheriff Craig Nobles, who said no charges are expected be filed.

No other information was available.
