The Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff has scheduled an open house for Wednesday to discuss the agency’s assessment of the Hatch nuclear plant’s two units in 2015. The plant, operated by Southern Nuclear Operating Co., is near Baxley, about 55 miles west of Hinesville. The open house is scheduled for 4-6 p.m. in Southeastern Technical College Auditorium, 3001 E. First St., Vidalia.
