The contractor for the Georgia Department of Transportation has scheduled a northbound traffic shift around 9 a.m. Monday on Veterans Parkway between E.G. Miles Parkway and Fort Stewart in Hinesville. Motorists traveling through this work zone should expect minor delays as the contractor performs the traffic shift.

Construction will continue in the area for this widening project. As in any work zone, motorists are reminded to pay special attention to traffic control devices and signs and posted speed limits to ensure safe passage through the area. All work is weather contingent.
