Kimberly Grugin Webster, wife of former Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield commander Lt. Gen. William G. Webster and daughter of Col. Bill and Betty Grugin of Sunbury, died Saturday, according to family friend Bruce Muncher.

Muncher said she was a cancer survivor but did not say what led to her death. He did say her passing was a shock to those who knew and loved her.

The Websters had three children, Marleigh, Will and Sarah. Will is a first lieutenant assigned to Fort Benning.

Muncher said Marleigh and Sarah are making final funeral arrangements for their mother, which include plans to inter her ashes at Arlington National Cemetery, where her mother was buried two years ago.
