The Pizza Hut at 443 Gen. Screven Way in Hinesville has been awarded the highest sales growth award for delivery in 2006 of any company or franchise owned by Pizza Hut in the country.
The award will be presented this week by Division Vice President Bruce Sharp during an employee appreciation dinner.
The Pizza Hut in Hinesville is owned by NPC International, a corporation that is one of the largest owners of Pizza Hut franchises. The Pizza Hut on Gen. Screven is under the leadership of Regional Director Steve Ampula, Area Manager Brad Wade and store General Manager Glenda Lawhead.
In a statement released by Wade and Lawhead, they said, “We could not have accomplished this without the support of our team and community.
“We are proud of our growth and are appreciative of our customers in Hinesville, which includes our proud military, Third Infantry Division, and all the surrounding communities.”
This Pizza Hut has been serving the community for more than 13 years. Lawhead has been with the organization for 18 years and said she takes pride in her team’s ability.
To show their appreciation, the management and crew invite the community to share a slice of their celebratory cake from 2-5 p.m. Tuesday. Those who mention this story in the Coastal Courier will receive a discount on pizza orders during the week of June 10-15.
