Long County hosted a Miss Independence Day pageant Saturday to celebrate the 4th of July holiday and highlight some of the area's talented young ladies.
The event, held at the Long County High School cafeteria, was sponsored by KIDZ-ETC.
McKinleigh Allen won the "birth through 6-year-old" category, and Xena Lewallen won the "7 and over" category.
Allie Palmer captured the "Baby Miss" title, and Kelsey Taylor was crowned "Toddler Miss."
Olivia Durrence won the "Tiny Miss" division, and Alexis Durrence was crowned "Petite Miss."
Courtney Ulmer was named "Pre-Teen Miss Queen," and the "Junior Miss" title went to Taylor Ognilla.
Shayna Brown won the "Ms. Queen" title, and Fallon Brown was crowned "Miss Independence Day Queen."
Marleigh Heath collected the most pageant sponsors and was crowned "People's Choice Queen."
