Meet Joseph Wynn, who is running for Riceboro council
Joseph Wynn

Editor’s note: Joseph Wynn is running for Riceboro City Council. He submitted this campaign biography for publication.

I, Joseph Wynn, am seeking election as a member of the City Council of Riceboro, Ga. Being a life-long resident of Riceboro has been a remarkable experience thus, especially since I have been able to see some growth with potential for enormous growth in many areas in my hometown which I love. There are three areas of great concern to me and you as well:

More business development opportunities for the City of Riceboro

Promote more accessibility for projects geared towards our elderly citizens.

Develop more cultural activities for our youth.

The leadership skills that I possess will be a great assess to the citizens of Riceboro. For over 10 years I have been an active member of the planning committee for Riceboro’s Annual Ricefest. Also, I volunteer with the City of Riceboro’s Summer Youth Program and the Georgia Initiative for Community Housing. Tied to Success and Feed My People are other organizations that are dear to be because we can provide resources for the basic needs of our youth and adults. In additional, I currently sponsor the Boyz to men annual fishing trip. Recently, I have been honored for my civic contributions to Liberty County with the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Observance Committee Award and The Liberty County Emancipation Proclamation Award. I proudly serve on both committees. Currently, I serve as a Deacon of the Historic First African Baptist Missionary Baptist Church in Riceboro, Ga. and employed at SNF Holding Company previously known as Chemtall for the past 20 years.

You know I have dedicated myself to the service of the people of Riceboro. I spare no pain when doing everything possible for the good of the people of Riceboro regarding their residential needs. I have ample time to engage fully in service of the municipality which is not possible for extremely busy candidates. Being a local inhabitant, I am well acquainted with the local issues. If elected, I will do my best to resolve these issues. I am requesting your support on Tuesday, November 5, 2019. Vote Joseph Wynn for Riceboro City Councilman because I have courage to do what is Right. Please Get Out and Vote!
