U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. David Goode, son of Freddie and Janis Goode of Ludowici, recently was assigned to the Pentagon for the second time.
He is an Air Force legislative liaison and has been an aircraft-maintenance commander in Southwest Asia. Goode previously was assigned to the Pentagon in 2009 as a major.
He and his wife, Kristyn, have two daughters.


Newell graduates basic training
Air Force Airman 1st Class Robert D. Newell recently graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio, Texas.
Newell is the son of Melissa A. Green of Hinesville and grandson of Donald Powell of Andrews, S.C. He is a 2012 graduate of Bradwell Institute.
