Fort Stewart soldier Sgt. Patrick Griffith organized the Warriors’ Walk, a 15-day trek from Fort Stewart to Fort Benning that will cover 222 miles, in honor of his brother-in-law Cpl. Josh Hargis, who lost both legs when his unit was hit by an improvised explosive device last year in Afghanistan. The walk, which takes participants through the backwoods and smaller highways of Georgia, serves as a fundraiser for the Hargis family. It began Monday morning.
