Georgia Guardsmen have been participating in a land navigation exercise at Fort Stewart’s Georgia Garrison Training Center.
PV2 Jessica Teegarden, an MP with the 179th Military Police Company out of Savannah, participated in her unit’s competition that consisted of land navigation, a handwritten test and weapons firing. “This was hard but great training to keep my soldiers’ skills honed,” said Teegarden, who lives in Statesboro and attends Georgia Southern University.
