Fort Stewart and the 3rd Infantry Division will be getting a new commander, possibly this spring. The Army announced Tuesdasy that Maj. Gen. Leopoldo "Lee" Quintas Jr. will succeed Maj. Gen. James Rainey. Rainey is being assigned to Washington as an assistant deputy chief of staff in operations.
