Former 3rd Infantry Division and Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield commander retired Lt. Gen. William G. Webster Jr. was sworn in as a member of the Savannah Technical College Board of Directors at a recent meeting by Liberty County Probate Court Judge Nancy K. Aspinwall. He was appointed to serve on the STC board of directors by the Technical College System of Georgia state board. Webster led the 3rd ID from 2003-06. For the past year, he has served as one of two senior mentors for the US War College, and worked for the Chief of Staff, US Army.
