Hinesville Mayor Jim Thomas signed a proclamation Thursday declaring Dec. 9-15 Wreaths for Warriors Walk Week.

The mayor encouraged local residents to take part in the sixth annual Wreaths for Warriors Walk ceremony, which is Saturday on Fort Stewart’s Cottrell Field.
