Holmes made senior chief petty officer: Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer Keith A. Holmes, son of Barbara and Stanley Holmes of Riceboro, recently was promoted to his current rank while with Strike Fighter Wing Atlantic Fleet in Virginia Beach, Va.

Holmes is a 1991 graduate of Tampa Bay Vocational Technical High School in Tampa, Fla.

He joined the Navy in February 1992.

Roberts graduates from basic training

Army Pvt. Genesis H. Roberts has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C.

Roberts is the daughter of Bernadette Donovan of Fayetteville, N.C., and Ronald Roberts of Hinesville.

She is a 2007 graduate of South View High School in Fayetteville.

Dudley graduates from basic training

Navy Seaman Tlissa S. Dudley, daughter of Dextin L. and Terrance D. Cobbs of Hinesville, recently was promoted to her current rank upon graduation from recruit training at Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Ill.

Dudley is a 2012 graduate of Bradwell Institute.
