McBride graduates from basic training: Army Pvt. Christopher G. McBride has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning in Columbus.

McBride is the grandson of Jerry and Jeanette McBride of Midway.

He is a 2010 graduate of Liberty County High School.

Parrish graduates from basic training

Navy Seaman Lavictor R. Parrish recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Ill.
He is the son of Shirley R. Humphries-Bowles of Hinesville and Kenneth Bowles of Hinesville.

Parrish is a 2010 graduate of Bradwell Institute.

Bryant graduates from recruit training

Marine Corps Pvt. Jerome T. Bryant recently earned the title of United States Marine after graduating from recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot on Parris Island, S.C.

He is a 2011 graduate of Liberty County High School.

Watson graduates from quartermaster school

Navy Seaman Apprentice Kayleen N. Watson recently graduated with honors from Basic Quartermaster School at Great Lakes, Ill., and was meritoriously promoted to her current rank.

She is the daughter of Connie Lynn L. and Kenneth J. Watson of Hinesville.

Watson is a 2009 graduate of Liberty County High School. She joined the Navy in August 2011.

Smith graduates from basic training

Air Force Airman 1st Class Jaquanda T. Smith graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

Smith is the daughter of Celeste Smith and granddaughter of Rosaline Smith, both of Hinesville.

She is a 2011 graduate of Bradwell Institute.
