Post changing visitor access procedures

Beginning Tuesday, June 17, all non-Department of Defense card holders and those without a valid pass requesting access to Fort Stewart will be required to apply for a pass at the Visitor Control Center at Gate 1. The VCC will issue passes for no more than three days at a time. There currently are no
changes planned to Hunter Army Airfield installation access procedures.

Rahn completes basic training

U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Cameron C. Rahn graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Rahn is the son of Angel Smith of Midway and a 2017 graduate of Liberty County High School in Midway.
