The first Hinesville Wounded Veterans Charity Event will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Bryant Commons, 438 W. Oglethorpe Highway in Hinesville.

The event, sponsored by Big Will Productions, will include food, music, entertainment and a car and bike show. There will also be a parade of motorcycle clubs’ riders and car clubs that will rally at the park.

People are asked to bring five nonperishable food items or a money donation to attend.

There is a $20 entry fee for the car and bike show. Deadline to register is April 28.

All proceeds from this event will benefit five local charities: United Military Care, Manna House of, Disabled American Veterans, United Way and the Veterans Memorial Walk.

The organizations that provide the largest monetary donation and the most nonperishable food will receive a trophies.
