Siblings celebrate military honors

Staff Sgt. Tremayn D. Sneed is now stationed in Cuba after leaving Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas, in September.
He recently was awarded the Army Meritorious Service Medal. He graduated from Bradwell Institute in 2002.
Spc. Sharhonda A. Clayton Sheats, a member of the Army Reserves who is attached to the 80th Training Command, 94th Division, Tass Training Center at Fort Dix, N.J., and on active-duty orders, recently was awarded the Army Commendation Medal.
She graduated from Bradwell Institute in 2006 and was in the school’s JROTC program for four years, where she reached the rank of lieutenant colonel.
Spc. Christopher S. Clayton, currently stationed in Guam, recently was awarded the Army Commendation Medal while stationed at Fort Lewis, Wash., upon his return from a yearlong deployment in Afghanistan. He graduated from Bradwell Institute in 2009.
Sneed, Sheats and Clayton are the children of retired Army Sgt. 1st Class Sharon Clayton and retired Army Sgt. Larry Clayton of Allenhurst.
