crimescenetape

Thirty-one personal vehicles were broken into Dec. 4 in post housing areas, Fort Stewart’s public affairs office acknowledged Monday.

The break-ins are believed to have occurred between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m., but the investigation continues. Look for a full story in the Courier when more details are available.

Fort Stewart police are asking anyone with information about the break-ins to contact their hotline at 767-5682. They’re also distributing information reminding on-post residents to lock their vehicles and not to leave valuables in plain sight.
